Spherion Bedford is working to fill a CNC Laser Operator position in Bedford, PA. The pay rate is $18.63 HOURLY.
Description:
Responsible for operating computer-controlled laser machines to cut sheet metal components in accordance with customer specifications, work orders, and inspection documentation.
What you'll do:
- Loads sheet metal onto the laser cutting table and initiates the laser cutting process.
- Removes finished components from fixtures and inspects parts for accuracy, defects, and completeness of cuts.
- Performs assigned operator-level preventive maintenance tasks.
- Adjusts machine settings and parameters to ensure cut quality meets required specifications.
- Conducts part inspections in accordance with established inspection instructions.
- Follows production standards to meet or exceed run rates and productivity goals.
